Out of curiosity, can Subversion be used with RDi for version management
of COBOL\RPG\CL source code?

Yes, Subversion can be used as a team provider in RDi.

Search google for 'Subclipse' to get the appropriate plug-in.

IIRC, Mark Phippard (formerly of Softlanding) is the engineering lead
for the Subclipse plug-in.
