Kevin,

You can take a look at the following IBM web page regarding custom compile
commands: http://snipurl.com/1dpe8

It lists the requirements to get the error list back. You need to include
SRCMBR(member-name).

Michael

Subject:

[WDSCI-L] EVFEVENT and custom compile.

I've been playing around a while with getting our custom compile program
to work in RDi and send up the errors. It seems to be doing everything
except causing RDi to pull up the errors. Here's what I have so far:

The command: UCMPRPG PROGRAM(&L/&N) SOURCE(&N/&L/&F) TGTRLS(V5R3M0)
DEBUG(*YES) OPTION(*EVENTF) CMPSOURCE(*RDI)

This creates a EVFEVENTF:

File . . . . . . : EVFEVENT Library . . . . : KEVIN

At the end of my compile I'm dumping the LDA:

I read some threads and have played with so much that I don't remember
now what I've tried and not tried. Because of the way our compile
program used to run, it never ended in error. Thinking that the lack of
an abnormal end was causing the problem, I've played around with various
messaging schemes, but I must not be hitting the correct one, or that's
not going to be the trigger.

The relevant section of the code where the compile fails:

SNDPGMMSG MSGID(CPF9897) MSGF(QCPFMSG) +

MSGDTA(%SST(&PGMPARM 11 10) *CAT +

%SST(&PGMPARM 1 10)) MSGTYPE(*ESCAPE)

DSPDTAARA DTAARA(*LDA) OUTPUT(*PRINT)

CHGVAR VAR(&CURLIB) VALUE(%SST(&PGMPARM 11 10))

CHGCURLIB CURLIB(&CURLIB)
