There is an open source plug-in for eclipse, but I can't remember the name.

If you using RDi (maybe even WDSC can't remember for sure), there should be
an "i Projects" or something to that effect perspective. That will let you
code without being connected. I used it a lot for VPN's that like to
disconnect me.
