Buck,

End of Service will occur on April 30, 2010 for WDSC 7.0 and was announced
on March 25, 2008 in announcement 908-049 which may be found at:

http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/ShowDoc.jsp?docURL=/common/ssi/rep_ca/9/897/ENUS908-049/index.html&breadCrum=DET001PT022&url=buttonpressed=DET002PT005&specific_index=DET001PEF502&DET015PGL002=DET001PEF011&submit.x=7&submit.y=8&lang=en_GB

RDi is the replacement product. RDi is not just another version of WDSc,
but is a new product written from scratch over Open Source Eclipse 3.4 as a
base. If it looks like WDSC it is because the features of WDSC were
implemented in RDI with many new enhancements on each feature of the
product.

This product is a direct response to customers telling us that WDSC was too
big had too many features and needed better performance.

Probably the wrong list for my reply. We'll see. Have not used RTCi
but I didn't feel it was very 'Agile' at first blush.

Of course, no mention of WDSC; only RDi, which is annoying since IBM
have not announced an end of support date for 7.0 Standard; Advanced
Edition has support until April 2010 (follow the link to announcement
letter 908-049:)

For you 6.0 fans, you have until April 30 2009 (yeah, 2 more days of
support. File your APARs now!)
