I also define a different connection for each application we run. That
way I can have separate library lists for different environments.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Library List Filter
Hi Kurt,
I don't know that I can speak authoritatively, but here's my understanding
of the library list filter. They are a handy way to work with the library
list for a connection. While there can be a library list filter
underneath each filter pool, the library list is unique to the
connection--not the filter pool. I believe that's because the server jobs
are assigned per connection.
To do what you're after with source verification (and compiles) using
different library lists, I've set up a different connection for each
environment I for which need to do compiles or verifies. (To me an
environment is primarily the set of libraries needed for a program.)
Someone else may have a better handle on this whole topic, but there's my
2-cents worth.

[WDSCI-L] Library List Filter
Hi,
At a recent conference I learned about Filter Pools (Thanks Aaron).
I was already using Filters, but now I have them broken out into
pools which is really cool. I then realized that each filter pool
can have a library list filter. Wouldn't that be cool if the
library list filter applied to the source I verified from the same
filter pool? That's not how it works. In fact, all three of my
filter pools library list filters are the same. If I change one,
they all change.
How are library list filters supposed to be used?
