Re: RDI 7.5 Still Crashing

Unfortunately, I can't invest any more time in trying to debug this
problem. I have alot to do on a daily basis.

It seems that this not just isolated to RDi 7.5. I have been trying to
use RBD 7.5.1 to begin learning and investigating EGL and had the same
problem. It wasn't consistent on when the crash occurred. I was always
trying to do something different. I guess the problem is in Eclipse, not
RDi and RBD.

Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on a copy of the WDSc 7.0 CDs that
I had previously installed. WDSc 7.0 seemed to be running consistently
and I didn't have any crashing problems with it. I uninstalled RDi and
RBD and installed WDSc 7.0. I need to have access to RSE to do my daily
job of RPG development and support. I will just have to wait for a couple
more levels of fix packs, before I try using RDi and RBD again.

Could you please use a new workspace to try to reproduce this problem?
Once you get the crash, save up the .log file and send it to me (this way
I could see the errors related to the crash if there are some). Thanks.

At the suggestion of Xuan, I loaded the current fix packs for RBD and RDi
thinking that would fix the problem of crashing with no error message.
Well, it didn't. I have had RDi crash twice already this morning. Anyone


else encountering this problem?
