Ouch... I'm still stuck on a 17" crt. The last monitor I blew up, I
asked for a FP, but before I could fill out all the paperwork, the boss
told me to use the old spare from one of the empty cubes.... Bummer.....
I've thought about bringing in a spare 19" fp from home, but somehow I
figure that would only cause trouble. I really do understand the need
to pinch pennies in these times, but really....
Good thing we've got a "vision plan" in the health benefits package.
Crank the screen resolution to max, try to ignore the flicker and whine
of a crt being pushed to the limit. <g>

I'll agree with Aaron that the larger monitor is easier on the neck
than trying to swivel between two monitors. I have a 24" monitor that
has a LOT of real estate on it so I can see a lot of windows at once
if I choose, or just one really large session.
One monitor vs. two is mostly a case of personal preference ... I like
having two 20" displays, both angled towards me.
Of course, before I got the 2nd 20" FP display, I had a a single 20" LCD
and a 19" CRT ... even that was very useful.
