That's an interesting approach. I never thought of anything like that
before.

I might be interested trying that. I just downloaded the source and library
to play with.

Another approach I have used with varying success is a SOCKS proxy
written in Java which can run at the remote host. You just need a
single vacant port at the other end, and then tell WSDCi to use it as an
Internet proxy.

For some reason this was much slower running on our V5R3 machine than
running on an ancient AIX 4.3 host next to it.

If you need this, let me dig out the details.
