Thank you for your hard work Frank,
Perhaps I was lazy to create my library filters again for the connections
that I had for the different machines, I already started doing at least in
one of our machines.
Thanks again.
Jorge

Hi Jorge,
in WDSc 6.0, 7.0 and RDi 7.1 subsystems provided by a new plugin were
automatically displayed under the existing connections. It seems to me, that
IBM has changed this in RDi 7.5. I really don`t know, if this is a bug or a
feature of IBM or if it is a bug of me. Anyway. I have found a way to solve
this programmatically. Tomorrow i release a new version.

Hi Frank,
I had the same issue yesterday, I created a new connection now I can see
TN5250J under the new connection, but not under the connection that I
already have. Any idea of how can I make it appear?
Jorge

Hi Mark,
please create just for test purposes a new connection in the RSE view.
Do you see the TN5250J subsystem under this new connection?

Hi Frank,
This plugin sounds great, but I seem to have an issue.
I installed as per the instructions, both the core and the 7.5 plugins, but
I don't get the TN5250J subsystem shown under my connection. I have
restarted RDi.
Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Hi Jorge,
the PDF was wrong. The TN5250J Core Plugin is only available with version
1.0.0.
I have changed the PDF. Thank you for your notice.

The instructions for TN5250J for RDi 7.5 Version 2.0.0 mentions "TN5250J
Core" 2.0.0, but the available links on
http://www.taskforce-it.de/downloads/TN5250JCore.pdf shows "TN5250J Core"
1.0.0.
Is there something wrong to what I'm doing?
Jorge

Subject: [WDSCI-L] TN5250J for WDSc/RDi
Hello everybody out there,
a new version of TN5250J for WDSc/RDi is ready to download. It also supports
RDi 7.5.
Due to the incompatible internal structure of WDSc 7.0/RDi 7.1 on the one
side and
Rdi 7.5 on the other side we have developed a TN5250J Core Plugin, which is
the base
for all TN5250J derivates we will provide for the future.
Additionaly it is necessary to install a specific plugin for the derivate.
If you want to install the new version in WDSc 7.0/RDi 7.1 you have to do
the following.
1. Uninstall every old TN5250J version manually, if you already have
installed
TN5250J Version 1.X.X.
2. Install the TN5250J Core Plugin. The link below opens an PDF document,
which
contains the installation instructions.
http://www.taskforce-it.de/downloads/TN5250JCore.pdf
3. Install the TN5250J for WDSc 7.0/RDi 7.1 Plugin. The link below opens an
PDF document,
which contains the installation instructions.
http://www.taskforce-it.de/downloads/TN5250JRSE1.pdf
If you want to install the new version in RDi 7.5 you have to do the
following.
1. Install the TN5250J Core Plugin. The link below opens an PDF document,
which
contains the installation instructions.
http://www.taskforce-it.de/downloads/TN5250JCore.pdf
2. Install the TN5250J for RDi 7.5 Plugin. The link below opens an PDF
document,
which contains the installation instructions.

Enjoy it.
