I deleted one of mine in a project/test library and it was re-created with members *NoMax.
The iSeries Commands Log shows the EVFEVENT file being created, though it does not show the MaxMbrs parameter value. It, also, shows a member being added to the file for the program that I compiled.
For what it may (or may not) be worth, I have modified the MaxMbrs default on our system from *NoMax to 1; that, it would appear, is not the command that the system uses to create the EVFEVENT file.
Also, I am on WDSc 7.0.
