Rank it at a 5 for me (and the developers at my organization).
At the last COMMON, in Nashville, I spoke to the "other George" (George
Voutsinas) about this, and he said they had pretty much dropped the
issue due to a lack of interest. He cited polls at sessions such as the
one you describe, and surveys in trade magazines, all yielding minimal
response. This truly surprised me. Perhaps we should organize a
petition of sorts to place in the Georges Inbox.
