I began seriously considering Linux when One Laptop Per Child chose it
for their PC. Ultra low-cost PC's are an emerging market, particularly
in K-12 education. I installed Ubuntu a few weeks ago and it has
exceeded my expectations. Something snapped in my social conscience
when M$ monopolistic business practices forced Netscape out of business.
