× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I will use the RSE plugin for comparing - never for merging - for the reason stated. Otherwise it's a great tool. It also has some trouble with really large source members - PDM option 54/55 do not, other than the SEU limit of 32K records.

Hey, no need for a fight here! Use the tool that does your job best for you!

compare/merge that much, but I find the WDSc plug-in to be more
intuitive.

I agree with Kent that the interface for merging using the RSE
Extensions is preferable. However, it is worth noting that any edits
made while in compare/merge mode (including merges) will cause all
sequence number and date information for that source member to be lost.
