Last week, we discovered that one of our developers was still using WDSc 6. This morning I attempted to install version 7 but with little success.

I closed out all of the running programs and inserted the first CD, and it locked up the machine. After restarting the PC using the power button, I again attempted the install. It failed with the following message: "The installer encountered an error when installing IBM Installation Manager. Installation has discontinued. Return code=-1".

Any ideas?
