It's been awhile since I had a similar expense. I'll share what I remember
of it and maybe it will help?

When the files that the rpg program referenced where found in a library in
my list for which I did not have change authority I would not see their
fields in wdsc outline. (they were in our production staging library). I
coudn't figure out why WDSc (6) wasn't showing my file fields in outline.
Then I noticed one of the files was in my development library and was 'seen'
by wdsc. When I put all of the files in my development library WDSc worked
fine in outline.

I have a strange occurrence. In the file listing of the outline it is
showing no fields from that file being used yet I can scan the program
and the fields are being used. If I look at the field list they are
there with the (+). In the file no (+). It is another of those
strange things that you just get used to.

Anyone know if this NEW product to replace WDSc will have the convert to
freeform with an SQL statement fixed? Or is that just going to be a
"Feature". Right now if you have an embedded SQL statement inside of a
IF, DOx, For loop it doesn't convert the statement correctly. IBM was
notified of this problem back in Release 6 and I was told that they
could not duplicate the problem in a future release. Version 7 has the
same problem and it has been reported and a reply that it was a known
issue, but no assurance of a resolution.
