Hi everyone,

In light of the number of posts concerning the Subversion articles, I asked
IBMSystemsMag.com if I could publish the code portion so the "geeks/coders"
out there can start tearing it apart and provide input for the final article
in the three part series. Tami Deedrick and Evelyn Hoover were kind enough
give me the go ahead. The code can be found at the following URL:

http://mowyourlawn.com/files/iSVN_v1.0.zip

What I would love:

1) Feedback on the usefulness of this on the iSeries

2) Feedback on what you need to make it more useful. I have plans to make
it easier to use from PDM and programs to do mass commits so it can be used
as a backup utility on a predetermined frequency basis (i.e. backup once a
day).

3) Volunteer(s) to help with researching a WDSC plugin that would allow you
to right click on a member and tell it to "compare with repository". At
that point it would review the config PF for the repository URL and execute
a subversion diff command and return the results in the Eclipse Compare
view. The other nice thing would be to bring up the repository history for
that particular member so you could compare revision 1 to revision 10 (for
example).

The "project page" for now will be on the following page:
http://mowyourlawn.com/SystemiSVN.html. Stay tuned there for updates. The
article won't be coming out until the April issue of IBMSystemsMag.com.

Thanks again to IBMSystemsMag.com for being so flexible!!

Later,

Aaron Bartell
