And when can somebody in the community put together a canned example that we
can download and install on our machines to sell to C-level?
I don't understand this. Run through the tutorial and you have an application.

Personally I have never seen the type of performance Nathan and Joe are
taking about unless I am developing on my desktop where I am the only one on
it. Which is why I would love to see it :-)
Not sure what you mean by that, since all my business logic runs on the host. I haven't met a thin-veneer JSP application that ever bottlenecked on the web application server. If all the server is doing is converting between EBCDIC and ASCII (the proper design for a web application), then you'll likely hit network saturation before your server falls over.

Could either of you put something out on the net showing the performance you
talk about? I understand that you can't put a customer product out there,
but really all I am looking for is a maintanence app for a single table to
whet my appetite, and if it is in EGL it would be great to see the source
too so I can test my fresh install of RBDe.
I'm primarily using the beta, so obviously I can't put hat on the web. I can't even publish it in IBM magazines until GA. So instead I suggest you read my old articles and use one of the demos from Jon Sayles to put together your own stuff.

Joe
