Aaron,
Thank you for adding that.
If you want to have an idea of how a wiki article should look like, take a look to a few articles in
http://en.wikipedia.org
Regarding the wiki police... we all are the wiki police: you, me, and everybody who is interested in the topic. That's the point of a wiki: we all make it happen.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Installing RAD7/EGL when WDSC already exists
Hi Manuel,
I have updated the wiki to have some more information (I pasted the email
response from IBM).
http://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/EGL
BTW, if the wiki police are listening, that page needs some help after I
edited it. Is there a more feature rich wiki editor that could be used? I
am guessing there are a lot of wiki syntax features that I would rather have
an editor do for me vs. try to remember/memorize them.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Installing RAD7/EGL when WDSC already exists
Aaron,
I tried to install EGL to be used with my WDSc 7.0.0.4 (with windows
2000) and I get the same error as you did.
I read your solution but I cannot change the location of the program which
is c:\program files\IBM\SDP70.
I downloaded a zip file usign http. I used the launchpad.exe which starts
installation manager.
Within installation manager I cannot browse to change the location.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Manuel Cerda
