Hmmm, I'll have to ponder this.

As a cheap work-around for now (if you are using a current release) you
could try putting something something like
<wf:js function="setOptionAndSubmit"/>('1','SCREEN');
as the JavaScript to call for the menu text action hyperlink (the 1 is the
menu option numer).

When using the system menu constructs there is part of the screen that

presented by your MNUDDS and part presented by a system screen. From
memory I think that the record name is MENUSN or maybe MENULN and the
field is CMDLINE for the system screen entry field. You can check this

running your app and looking at the source that the browser gives you.

I think that the Web Setting that you are searching for will look
something like this...

A*%%WB 12 FLD 4 fld=&{MENULN.CMDLINE.REF}|value=1|func=ENTER
