This was another example of as soon as I post the question, I figured out
the answer. Kind of like talking out loud I guess.
I use the Action Hyperlink and inserted the value I wanted into my selection
field and caused it to send an ENTER command to the server. That did the
trick.
Thanks anyway...

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Webfacing Hyperlink
Hi,
I am trying to figure out the syntax to link a menu dds text field to
another DDS/program call in Web Facing.
That is,
I have a menu DDS that looks like this (for example):
Item Master Menu
1. Item Maintenance
2. Item History
Select ___
F3=Exit
So in Webfacing, the generic conversion creates a JSP that looks something
like this:
Item Master Menu
Item Maintenance
Item History
Select ____
What I want to do is have the user click on "Item maintenance" and have it
go to the appropriate JSP for that program.
I am now inside Screen Designer and I have highlighted the "Item
Maintenance" text and have selected the "Create Hyperlink" Web Setting.
I am trying to figure out the syntax that should go in the JavaScript
Hyperlink field in the designer to point it to the JSP I want in this Web
Facing project.
Did that make sense? Can anyone help me with this or point me to a
resource online that might have examples like this.
Thank you,
Shannon O'Donnell
