Just wanted to send a note to the lists for anyone else that might be
venturing into the same area I am.
I wanted to try out EGL and see what type of fit it would be good for, so I
downloaded RAD7 and installed it. Next you need to install an additional
plugin called the "Rational Business Developer" which is an addition to
RAD7. Now, I am not entirely sure, but I may have been able to just install
"Rational Business Developer" over my WDSC install. I didn't want to do
that because it may have caused problems in what I consider my primary
development tool.
The problem I had was during the install of the RBD extension/plugin.
During the install I came up with the following:

After a couple rounds with IBM support they were able to point me to
installing it in a different location so as to not conflict with my install
of WDSC7. I now have EGL installed and hope to give it a run in the coming
months.
