Oh, even better...

Go to Preferences/Remote Systems/Remote Systems/iSeries Parser and check the box while putting you JL01 in the field. It will then fill every changed line with JL01.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you want but...

Create a new line with JL01. Use copy (c) and overlay (o or oo) like we did
in SEU.
Or
Alt-R at the top left (column 1) and Alt-R at the bottom right (column 5) of
the desired lines (to form a selected rectangle). Right
click->Selected->Fill. On the command line type your mod tag JL01.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] positional copy blocks

Is there a way in WDS to select multiple lines worth of a positional
range (and of course paste them into same)?

Example:

I flag my changes in positions 1 thru 4 (JL01).

I'd like to copy
JL01

JL01

JL01

JL01

JL01

JL01

Etc

from these first four positions, into the first four positions of my
other new lines (without having to do it one line at a time).
