Thanks Joe

You know I'd never go bashing WDSC - not lately, anyhow! I used to have a hate- hate relationship with early versions of CODE and all that - 8 years ago. No matter what, IBM just did not seem to want to sell them. Claus did all he could, but the only support was for him to come out to your company. ASNA was much more aggressive and won in the place I worked at the time.

Have a very Merry Christmas, you and your family!

Well, I don't know why you would apologize for mentioning it except that
this isn't the right list for PDM in general. I'd question it if you
started asking for MRGSRC help. But comparing a non-WDSC tool to a WDSC
tool isn't terribly off-topic, unless you go off on a WDSC-bashing rant.

As to the general topic of merging source, I haven't had a need to merge two
source members in a decade and a half so I'm certainly no expert on the
topic, but it certainly seems like it might be relevant to a list on
development tools.

And besides, your comments are usually helpful and insightful, anyway, Vern.

Joe
