I find I need a merge many times. The best one, and what I use almost
all the time, is option 55 in PDM. Nothing else gives me the
flexibility of that tool, and I won't apologize for mentioning it on
this list.
Well, I don't know why you would apologize for mentioning it except that
this isn't the right list for PDM in general. I'd question it if you
started asking for MRGSRC help. But comparing a non-WDSC tool to a WDSC
tool isn't terribly off-topic, unless you go off on a WDSC-bashing rant.
As to the general topic of merging source, I haven't had a need to merge two
source members in a decade and a half so I'm certainly no expert on the
topic, but it certainly seems like it might be relevant to a list on
development tools.
And besides, your comments are usually helpful and insightful, anyway, Vern.
