The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I gave this a try myself. I followed the directions as best as I could
to create the user profile, and think I did it all correctly (up to
testing the plugin which I skipped). I did end up with the same trimmed
down source that Peter used. I exported it to the suggested directory:
c:\program files\ibm\sdp70\plugins
Then started WDSC with the -clean option.
And still no cursor.
I am a complete novice with Java, but the editor seemed to like what I
had keyed.
At least I am not getting any error messages.
Any suggestions? I really like the cursor, but the lazy part of me is
about ready to stop using it if I can't get it going automatically.

Try:
c:\program files\ibm\sdp70\plugins
and invoke WDSC with the -clean option.
