This evening while in iSeries Project perspective I did a Save As of an IFS file to a new name (say X). But the file never showed up on the System i, and the hover text showed it saved to the project - but it didn't appear in the list of files in the project.

OK - I still have it in edit so I did a drag/drop of another IFS file (Y) in the RSE perspective and renamed it to the new file name (X) figuring I could at least copy/paste the new content into it.

Double-clicked the new file (X) in RSE thinking both it and the temp version would open in the editor.

Nope - just the one file - but with the new content!

However - I made a small change and did a save.

No error message but when I ran the program that read the file I found that only was the latest change not there, but neither were the other changes that I had made earlier. It was simply a straight copy of Y!

Anyone seen this before?
