I had already deleted the logs from this directory without any effect.

However, this morning I imported the preferences that I had exported
previously (before having problems) and this seems to have corrected the
problems, so far. I will post another update later.

WRKLNK won't show any directories starting with a period. However, if you

used to generate '.log' files in there when jobs were submitted. (I don't
