Thanks, it does seem to be working. I guess I was looking for an actual CD
label, Guess I made it too complicated. This way I don't have to hang
around and change CD's like I did for my PC.
I'll look into the packaging utility.

Re: [WDSCI-L] setup WDSC 7 on network drive for install.
Bob, when I did it here, I had a WDSCi Installation folder, which
contained /Disk1, /Disk2, and so forth. Each folder contained the copied
contents of the named installation CD. The installer is smart enough to
see the folders and chenge between them without intervention.
I later installed the IBM packaging utility (on one of the auxillary CD
that came in the package) and created my own repository. With this, I can
download fixpacks from IBM and apply them to the repository, so that I
only install the most current approved releases.

Trying again. I found one post that made it sound like disc 2 should be a
subfolder of disc one, and so on. I just had them all in the same folder.
Has anyone added the extra languages? A few of our developers and
multilingual and I was wondering if this might be of interest to them, or
helpful in programming.

[WDSCI-L] setup WDSC 7 on network drive for install.
I know this was discussed a while back, and I'm still searching the
archives, but how do I copy the disks to a network drive so it stops
prompting for the next disc? My PC is updated but there are 5, or 6 if I
can convince my boss to try it, that still need loaded. Copying the cdis
easy... copy-paste, but I know the names have to be correct for the
install program to find the discs.
