Bruce,
I seem to recall that the launchpad might not support IExplore 7 but can't
seem to find the documentation on that.
In the directory of launchpad.exe, there is install_win32.exe (which the
launchpad calls) which hopefully will get you going.

I am trying to install WDSCi on a Dell Optiplex GX280. It is running
windows XP pro with service pack 2 and all updates. I have also update
the bios to the most current A08. This machine has a 2.8 Ghz Processor
and 2 GB of memory.
When I put the first disk in I get this.
This launchpad is not intended to run on the current platform. Check the
product documentation or contact your vendor for more information about
supported platforms.
