Hey All,

Not to stay of topic but...

I just bought a iMac and it is great, it does what computers are supposed to
do..works. No driver issues, no install issues, no virus protection needed. If
you want to uninstall a program you move it to the trash can. Its fast and fun
especially if your creative. Dont get me wrong I still need PC's for work and
dont think they are all bad but thier isnt any comparison. I will be installing
Parallel to run XP for my favorite windows programs (MS Money), games and of
course virus protection/firewall :)

Thanks for listening and again sorry about being off topic in this list.

Don N.

PS: My iMac has a 7200 rpm 240 Gb HD.

Trevor, oddly enough I was looking at the Mac Pro this morning. The thing

Mike, Here's something my co-worker found for me that relates to what you
are trying to do:

Mike,

I work with WDSc 7.0 every day with XP under Parallels Desktop on my mac -
have been since those last emails.. I use a Parallels mode called
Coherence
where everything appears to run on the same desktop - mac and pc
applications together.

I gave my XP virtual OS 1GB of memory after some testing. I have 3GB
memory
on my MacBook Pro. I do not have a comparable PC to test the speed, but it
seems to run reasonably fast - I can Verify quickly, and compiles are
fast.

I have never used BootCamp, or Fusion from VMWare, so I have no
comparison.
I do get occasional blue screen errors - which shuts down my XP virtual
machine, but I am 99% sure that is related to another Windows product I
use
a lot. WDSc seems stable with this configuration.

Hope that helps,
Trevor
