I have the TOSHIBA MK2035GSS 200GB - it appears to be 4200RPM. I really do
not notice any speed issues with WDSc on XP on this config. As I said, I
have no PC with XP to really compare.

I bet if you got a decent mac desktop, you could have some decent specs. I
think the new MacBooks are good, but their desktops are incredible.
