there is no way (that I can think of) to do this.
Supporting split views in all member types is on our list of requirements.

Last week there was a discussion about split screens:
Split screens are enabled for the iSeries parsers (DDS, CL, COBOL, RPG)

but

not for other parsers.

You can enable multiple views after opening a member by entering the
following editor commands:
set multipleViews on
updateProfile

Note that you will need to do this every time you open the member.
