Ok, I did the verify. Then I did Cache File Description on several
files. Then I did refresh on the source pf because it could find the
/copy source members. Now it has it that XML pointing to the line with
XML-INTO is not defined and assignment operator is expected on that same
line. The program compiles on the 400 with not errors.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Outline Generating Causes Lockup

Hi Bill,

are you able to verify your source using the program verifier?
How long do you wait before you kill the process?

thanks,

My computer lockup when I attempt to generate an outline on one of my
RPG IV source members. It takes a couple of minutes or so to get to
the
task manager and cancel the javaw.exe that's using 100% of CPU.

The RPG member in question reads an xml and it reads a stream file to
get the names of the xml files to read.

I have no clue as to why this happens. I've tried clearing cache,
cache
refresh, clean project. I even renamed the source to another name.

Some time back it starting making me cache every single library by
hand
in order to get any file's fields to appear in the outlines.

Outlines have just become too much trouble for me. I have quit using
them.
