The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. But the Install Manager is
doing the same thing
(you simply click Update packages, it will then find the udpate ).
Thanks.

Re: [WDSCI-L] v7.0 find and install updates
so will installation manager ever do update searches like the find and
install? manually hunting down packages is a tedious task...
Thanks,
Tommy Holden

Re: [WDSCI-L] v7.0 find and install updates
You can only use the IBM Install Manager (already installed) to update
WDSC.
Thanks.

[WDSCI-L] v7.0 find and install updates
i am totally at a loss. i change the attributes on the SDP70Shared
directory to all access (which works fine) but when i run the "Find and
install updates" i get the message "You cannot install in the site
"file:/c:/Program Files/IBM/SDP70Shared/". It is considered non
updateable" and sure enough the attributes on the directory are set to
read-only. i can do this repeatedly without fail. is anyone else having
this problem?
Thanks,
Tommy Holden
