I wish that WDSC had an setting for "fast loading of lists..." that would show the first 10-15, or so of a filter list, then fill in the rest while I was looking at the top of the list.

I agree, the refresh-wait-for-server answer takes too long. It would be
nice if it worked in the same way as Team Synchronize where the window
is populated as the server response trickles in, and you can start
working with the first almost immediately.

Another benefit with WSDCi that may not be obvious, is that I as an
experienced Eclipse user but inexperienced AS400 developer can get real
work done without needing to ask my colleagues all the time what the
command to do this and that. I managed to adapt and compile a
CL-program yesteday with the compiled program in a seperate file all by
myself. I could not have done that on a green screen.

In other words, it lowers the threshold for new programmers to the
AS/400 which can only be good :)
