subject: [WDSCI-L] More on EGL - a new name
IBM Rational has another new name - EGL is now called Rational Business
Developer Extension. This just makes it harder for us to know where to
find it - heh!
Business partners who have the Software Access Catalog option can
download the eAssembly there - there are 2, a trial and a full (I
assume) version. You won't find version 7 under the old name.
More info on EGL can be found at developerworks at
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/products/egl/
I was intrigued by the possibilities this product gives our customers.
See what y'all think.

I scanned through the link and looked at the example. I was impressed
by the dearth of references to RPG (sarcasm). It looks like (at first
glance) that it is geared towards WEB enabled programs. Did I miss
something? Between this and PHP what is happening to RPG?
