Yep, the *CRTBNDRPG is all you need. You need the same thing in CODE if you have the latest patch for it (although there are probably only about 3 of us who care any more ;).

The processor always goes to 100% when it's slow, yes, with most of it sucked up by javaw.exe. There's also usually a LOT of disk activity. Hitting the paging file, maybe?

RPG/Defines - define a condition name *CRTBNDRPG and it will work fine.

Just define the condition *CRTBNDRPG? Nothing else?

As for the verify speed, I find it very erratic, sometimes running
quickly
and other times being extremely slow.

I see the same thing. If Windows have you had the Taxk Manager up? When
verifier seems to be running extremely slow on my system the CPU
utilization is pinned at 100%
