Jeff and others,

Fix for that is Preferences/Remote Systems/iSeries/Program Verifiers/ILE RPG/Defines - define a condition name *CRTBNDRPG and it will work fine.

I think Violaine is aware that we ought to have something a little more intuitive.

As for the verify speed, I find it very erratic, sometimes running quickly and other times being extremely slow. Might have something to do with my employer insisting on using Lotus Notes, which slows my whole PC when it gets in a funk. It's a little frustrating since in all my years of using CODE the verifier was almost never slow, except when building or refreshing its cache.

Verifies were always slow for me, so I tried it again on a moderately sized
RPG4 program. Compile takes about 5-6 seconds, verify about 4-5 seconds,
not much of a difference.

However, the verify fails (level 20 errors) because it's trying CRTRPGMOD
instead of CRTBNDRPG. I found where the preferences are, greyed out. I got
it 'ungreyed' and changed to CRTBNDRPG. But the verify still fails with the
level 20 errors.

I'll stick to compiling for now.
