V6 and V7 co-exist just fine. There's no reason to uninstall V6 first UNLESS you don't have enough disk space for both. I have both versions on this laptop. V6 runs just as it did before installing V7. V7 runs better, so that's what I use. It isn't perfect, but it's a significant improvement. I see no reason to wait. Besides, the first fixpack is out already, not that it made any noticeable differences.

In order to install V7 we should uninstall V6 first? This sounds like
trying to install a new versions of Windows, the upgrades never worked
and you had to wipe everything out and start from scratch. I am really
impressed with what I hear about V7 (sarcasm).

Someone suggested waiting for the first service pack to come out before
upgrading, that sounds like pretty good advice.
