How did you get v7?

According to the v7 announcement:
"Effective March 16, 2007, existing V5R3 and V5R4 (5722-WDS) customers, who
have acquired the program
previously and who have a current System i Software Maintenance or Software
Subscription contract, can
use the 2658 no-charge feature number to order the entitled V7.0 workstation
tools."

The way I read that is that you can't order the no-charge v7 upgrade unless you
have v5r3 or v5r4.

Did you get it through Passport Advantage or some other partner channel?
