One thing I do is using the "triangle menu" only choose the messages that
I care about, I never see informational/warning ones. I also have checked
under messages "insert selected only". That way after I compile, I click
on messages to fix each one and only see that one in my code.
It is nice to see a way of removing them. If I fix a problem by entering
code on another line (D specs) the error won't clear. I've been using a
"D" on the line as is i was deleting code in SEU..

OK, I learned something today, I can go home now.

Re: [WDSCI-L] TODO Tasks

Your statement: "these compile problem messages after cleaning up my
source code" confuses me. I have been watching this "TODO Tasks" thread,
and I've never used a "task". However "problem messages" sound like what
I do when I'm done correcting my compile errors, and that is to go to
Source/Remove Messages.

I'm sure this isn't what you're talking about, because you probably
would have been "dumped" on with multiple messages telling you what I
told you above - so if the shoe doesn't fit...delete it... :-)

I have the same problem in that I cannot easily remove these compile
problem
messages after cleaning up my source code. A recompile does not remove

them. I have the same issue as Justin in regards to the help offered
about
the single char wide tan area to the left of the grey line-number and
date
in the LPEX editor. What does work for me is to simply close the
window
containing the source menber, and re-open it.

I see absolutely nothing for these items, not even a disabled "Remove
Task"

When I right-click on these tasks in the source (on the icon that
resembles a clipboard and a checkmark) the option to 'Remove Task' is
disabled.

Tasks that I add manually work correctly.
