There are currently 12,083 members in the biggest source file.  It took
close to 10 minutes for the DSPFD to run to find that out!  The longest
request I made through RSE and allowed to finish was around 15 minutes;
I've
killed several that would have taken as long or longer.  Much more limited
filters are the only practical solution.  Our naming conventions aren't
too terrible for that, fortunately.

Wow.  The fact that the DSPFD took ten minutes says a lot about the list
APIs (and also a lot about why WDSC takes a while to load the full list!).
The first thing we have to do is see if there is a way via asynchronous use
of the APIs to get at that list more quickly.

Of course, my copious free time this moment is nil.  But maybe next month
when I have a teeny bit of breathing space.
