It's slicker than snot. What I especially wanted it for are 2 scenarios: 1) I have a number of CL programs that are USRPRF(*OWNER). I always had to stick a comment in the source so I wouldn't forget to compile it that way. Now I don't have to, COMPILE handles it. (This isn't an issue with RPG due to the presence of the H-Spec.) I even stuck a " *_> CHGOBJOWN " command in one source after the " *_> CRTCLPGM " and it worked! 2) Print file DDS. I essentially was putting my entire CRTPRTF command into the source as comments anyway. Now COMPILE does this for me. Just a Happy Camper.
