hey Bob,

You don't need to stay at v6.0/6.0.1 just because of CODE Designer.

V7.0 includes the same CD for CODE as v6.0, so this means a couple of
things:
1. You don't need to uninstall/reinstall CODE when you want to install WDSC
v7.0
2. You can use WDSC v7.0 with your existing installation of CODE

And while I'm at it:
A few PMRs for CODE have trickled in lately relating to V5R4M0 hosts and
missing patches/PTFs:
I would recommend that anyone wanting to use CODE with V5R4 refer to the
following fixes & PTFs:

10 CDs? Please say this comes with a DVD. I'll probably stick with
version
6 since I use code designer for screens, but just in case loading from
1DVD beats multiple CDs anyday. The way programs keep getting bigger we
will need multiple DVDs soon.
