To add to that, if anyone is concerned about 7.0 and 6.x conflicts I just
successfully loaded a free copy of VMWare and loaded Windows XP Pro on it.
I don't have 7.0 yet but may be able to get my hands on it today (if the
download is made available).

I don't totally agree.  I installed 7.0 last week and it incoporates Eclipse
3.2 which is much faster than previous versions. 

Since 6.0 and 7.0 will apparently co-exist you can install both. 

If you have problems with 7.0 use 6.0 as your backup. 

I plan to start using 7.0 and not look back.
