Hi Michael, I'm afraid that's not how projects work. Currently there are two ways to compile from within a project (assuming you are using v6.0.1) 1. Submit a build of the whole project 2. Right-click in the iSeries projects perspective tree, select Remote Actions->Compile->a_compile_command Unfortunately projects cannot be configured to do what you are asking. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 03/08/2007 01:03:32 PM:
Violaine, I don't think we are communicating. Let me approach this from a different
angle. I need to use the project perspective for many reasons. Therefore,
I
would like a "shortcut" to be able to generate a compile without having
to
navigate the context menu when pointing to a source in my project. I
would
even be happy if an entry could be added to the context menu when right-clicking on a source that says "compile this source using the
selected
compile command". Can that be configured? -- Regards, Michael Rosinger Systems Programmer / DBA Computer Credit, Inc. 640 West Fourth Street Winston-Salem, NC 27101 336-761-1524
