Lord, I wish they would. However, IBM has stated (Rob, what was that link?) that 36E and 36E will continue into the foreseeable future. If IBM would deprecate 36E, I would have a good business reason for getting the company to buy a conversion tool. (Or the company might decide that where we're at is good enough.)

IBM did, at one time, say that RPG II, etc., would be deprecated. But they back pedaled on that.
