I generally create an iSeries project download the source into the
project (which can be redirected to the new machine) and I can also
export them to a zip file for backups in case someone "whacks" a source
member...

Tom,

Are you really trying to upload source from a PC to a system i? If you
are just moving a few members from one System i to another, try
selecting
the desired members in RSE, right click and choose COPY; navigate to
the target system and files, and PASTE the members to the desired target

file.

[WDSCI-L] Uploading Souce to a new machine

I know there is an easy way to download the source from an as400. "Make
available offline". What I would like to know, is if you are moving
source
to a new machine, is there an easy way to "Make available online ? In
other
words, can you upload a bunch of source members to a different machine?
Thanks
Tom
