Hi Glenn, EVFCTCPD is the CODE Communication Daemon. Without it, CODE will not be able to commincate with the iSeries. You will also need to allow several other EVF* and CODE* executables - I can think of the following: evflgen.exe - CODE Program Generator evfwlx40.exe - CODE Editor codesrv2.exe = CODESRV command codeprj2.exe = CODE Project Organizer codedsu2.exe = CODE Designer Hope that helps! Hi there, I am at a customer site that controls their firewall very tight. After doing the install, I'm not sure if it started after the WDSc install, the CODE/VisualAge RPG install, or the HATS install, I'm getting two programs blocked by the Firewall. I can't unblock them because it's controlled by the domain server in another country. Java Launcher evfctcpd Do I need to request these two program to be unblocked? If so, I need to know what these two are doing. Thank you. Glenn Gundermann ggundermann@xxxxxx Cell: (647) 272-3295
