It's not just IBM. I major motherboard and graphics card manufacturer
who I just bought new equipment from in Feb has not yet release Vista
versions of their software. When I contacted their support site they
said they were working on it and had waited for the retail version to
hit the streets before they started working on the software changes.

Another thought would be...MS making the "packaged" version of the OS
available to software vendors so they can verify/modify their products
prior to the release of the OS.

Thanks,

One thought would be to check software requirements before installing
a new operating system.

Isn't that just grand news! I suppose everyone will be blaming MS for

Hey Andy,

CODE/400 does not support Vista. Actually, WDSC is also currently
unsupported on Vista as well.

Hi all

Having problems trying to install the additional WDSCi tools onto a
new
Vista machine, but get the following error on install 'Java reports
Windows

NT (unknown) as the name of your OS. This OS is not supported'

WDSC 6.0 installed just fine onto Vista.

Anyone else seen this?

Many thanks
